What to Include

To help us understand the issue faster, include as much of the following as you can:

  • What you were trying to do.
  • What happened instead.
  • Your Redock app version.
  • Your iOS or iPadOS version.
  • The device model you are using.
  • Whether the issue happens with SSH, Mosh, tmux, SFTP, speech input, projects, actions, or another area.
  • Screenshots or screen recordings if they help explain the issue.
  • Any visible error message.

Please do not include passwords, private keys, API keys, access tokens, or other secrets.

Connection Issues

For SSH, Mosh, tmux, or SFTP issues, it is helpful to include:

  • Host type, such as Mac, Linux server, VPS, NAS, or local development machine.
  • Connection method, such as same Wi-Fi, Tailscale, ngrok, public IP, or port forwarding.
  • Whether a normal SSH client can connect to the same host from another device.
  • Whether the remote host has required tools installed, such as tmux or mosh.

If you are just getting started, see:

Speech Input Issues

For speech input issues, include:

  • The selected speech provider.
  • Whether recording starts successfully.
  • Whether transcription fails, returns empty text, or produces incorrect text.
  • The provider-side error message, if one is shown.

Feature Requests

Feature requests are welcome. Please describe the workflow you want to improve, not only the button or setting you want added. For provider requests, include the provider name and an optional link to its API documentation.
