Custom Fonts and Themes

Overview

Open Terminal Font and Terminal Theme in Settings to preview and adjust terminal text and colors immediately.

Custom fonts

• Adjust the terminal font size and choose from the bundled monospaced fonts.
• Pro users can select a font installed on the device or import one or more .ttf and .otf files at once.
• Import matching Regular, Bold, and Italic faces from one font family so terminal text can switch styles correctly.

Custom themes

• Choose from bundled dark and light themes, using the preview to check foreground, background, and accent colors.
• Pro users can download the JSON theme template, edit its colors, and import it again. JSON, plist, YAML, and plain-text theme files are supported.
• Imported fonts and themes can be deleted when they are no longer needed.

Best used for

• Improving terminal readability on a small screen.
• Working with a familiar coding font and color scheme.
• Preparing different terminal appearances for bright and dark environments.
