Overview
A backup address is useful when one Host can be reached through public, local, Tailscale, or other network paths. If the primary address is unavailable, Redock can try the available backup address.
Best used for
- Moving between office, home, and cellular networks.
- Hosts with public, local, or Tailscale addresses.
- Avoiding repeated Host address edits.
